Old Grumpy's is the family's tribute to Neal Shipp, who founded the winery in 1989. The piccalilli is the range's best-known jar, sold singly, in sets of four and in the Mead, Whisky, Cheese and Piccalilli gift box. It sits alongside Celteg chutneys, Cranberry and Fig Sauce, Fiery Chilli Sauce, Orange and Ginger Marmalade, Tropical Fruit Marmalade and conserves from apple and pear to chilli and Medieval Mead.
Everything is made in small batches at the winery, in the same building as the wines. Preserves are popular in our hampers: pick a jar or two when you build your own.
